Winter Solstice Storytelling - 21/12/2022

We have been telling stories forever. Telling them around the fire, the hearth, at work - everywhere. However, some stories move us more than others: stories of pain, of overcoming, of learning, failing, and succeeding.

We gathered on the Winter Solstice to tell our own stories in community. We witnessed one another and we were witnessed. We held each other in trust, in understanding, and loving attention.

These stories were so moving that many more wanted to tell their stories, to share their lives, and see themselves in others. The list of storytellers expanded as the night went on and everyone, in sheer silence of care and intimacy listened on.

On this incredibly meaningful night, we held one another in communion to feel our deepest feelings in the presence of others. Thank you to everyone who overcame their vulnerability and transformed it into shared intimacy.
