Potlucks

Food, table, conversation, people. Gifting, eating, talking, hanging. A potluck brings everyone together. It is both for reuniting with loved ones and meeting new loved ones. The perfect opportunity to invite a friend. We love having potlucks because in a place like Toronto, every dish comes with a story, every bite reveals a past otherwise forgotten. Every potluck is a chance to hone our cooking skills, an event to test out new recipes with hungry and excited friends.

How dear of a sentiment it is to know there are people waiting for you, fork in one hand knife in another, to taste your new dish. The potluck is the ultimate home-style get together. We like it so much that we invite everyone, to later realize, it is difficult to host 25 people in one kitchen. As long as we all do the dishes together, however, it is all worth it and more.

So much good Food - So many cool People!

Bringing food is great but kneading the dough, baking it, and serving it piping hot is even better. Is that Philippe gifting us with home-made Turkish pide?

Did Tan say something about “anal” in that video?!? Table manners still not our forté.
